Modern Art at the PMA

Today we visited the Modern and Contemporary wing of the Philadelphia Museum of Art to talk about the connections between the artwork in the museum and the art we create at the Cultural Arts Center.



Myesha was drawn to Marcel Duchamp's "The Large Glass."



George, Anni, Yvonne and Charlene talk about a Mondrian painting.

Freddy and Sarah really enjoyed a gallery that featured modern art from Eastern Europe.



Christina and Ms. Elisabeth were drawn to the string in this painting from the Ellsworth Kelly gallery. String and yarn are Christina's favorite media.
