We had a huge barbecue in our back garden organized by the staff and one-to-ones. The event was also our baby shower party for Desiree, who is expecting her son in a few weeks.

Mexico!

Today we began building a cardboard Ziggurat while we studied Ancient Mayan culture. We have started a new program where we study a different culture every month. This month we are studying Mexico. In photos: Mike, George, Jason, Rasheed and Mike G.

Zoo Trip Part II

Today we had a large group visit the zoo. We lucked out on the weather and had a wonderful time seeing elephants, giraffes, zebras, polar bears, lions, and our favorite: ziraffes, half giraffe half zebras also known as okapi.

Smoothies!

The Philadelphia Zoo

Today half of our group went on a field trip to the Philadelphia Zoo. We saw tons of animals and enjoyed lunch outside in the fresh air. In photos: Kim, Danny, Lateeda, Jeffrey, Teresa, Myron and Jason.

First Friday Dance

We danced the night in style at "Enchanted Evening," our First Friday dance. Great music, raffles, a photo shoot and pizza were enjoyed by all. Special thanks to our St. Joe's volunteers.

Guitar Lessons
